To tackle large issues like climate justice and climate change, we need everyone — and activism can be incorporated into every walk of life and profession. Many people hear the term ‘environmental activist’ and assume you have to be a scientist or public policy maker, but there are infinite options!
People across a variety of fields fight for climate justice every day and use their voice to impact bold change. Professions can include:

Whether you want to be on the front lines of a climate protest, like to read and write, or spend your free time in the kitchen, you can be an advocate for the planet. In fact, we need you!
THINK
People use experience, interests and passions to contribute in unique ways. And tackling the climate movement, like achieving progress in any movement, depends upon a multitude of players, approaches and perspectives.
ACTIVITY
- Research a few people in any profession listed who have made their jobs green or actively take a stand for climate / social justice
- Design a graphic about one person and their job
